Marine Mammal Center

The marine mammal center recognizes the dependence between humans and animals. The goal of this institution is to rescue the animals with some treatments and medications, to take care of the marine mammal orphans, help scientists, educate or re-educate the animals, to finally put them back in their own habitat.
They don`t just rescue marine mammal, they do a lot of tests in their environment to understand the problems and find a solution.
United States protects all marine mammals by the Marine Mammal Protection Act (1972). There are also international laws and treaties that protect marine mammals *.
