A tiger is like a cat that is 140-280 cm long and between 60 to 95 cm high depending on if it's a male or a female. They're recognized in myths around the globe for their charisma and their beauty. They're also a powerful reverence symbol and they represent liberty and brutal strength to their human neighbors. Like other predators, they maintain the balance in nature between herbivorous prey and vegetation. They're also a smart species. They learn quickly. For example, at eleven months, a tiger already knows how to kill a prey.
They live in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, North Korea, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam. Because of the expansion of their habitat, tigers were forced to leave their natural habitat. They're particularly hunted for their fur. They're also victims of a lot of poaching. They're poisoned, shot, trapped and snared and they're sought to meet the demands of a continuing. That's why even if they are considered endangered, a lot of tigers have vanished from the world. Three out of nine tigers subspecies have been lost. The Bali, Caspian, and Javan tigers have all become extinct and many scientists believe the South China tiger is “functionally extinct”.
Places have been created to help tigers’ survival. They’re in a special area which is protects them from to poaching or prey. They’re in nature, without any men around them.
